FRANKENMUTH, Mich. – Nov. 27, 2018 – Dorothy Zehnder has been providing visitors to Frankenmuth and the Bavarian Inn Restaurant with delicious, quality food for decades. Now, fans are encouraged to give back to her on her special day.
On Saturday, December 1, Dorothy will celebrate her 97th birthday. This year has been an exciting one for her, as 2018 marked both 130 years of service for the Bavarian Inn and 70 years of service for Dorothy herself.
“Our mother views our guests as friends,” said Bill Zehnder, president of the Bavarian Inn Restaurant. “She has been truly touched in the past by birthday greetings and well wishes, and I know she’ll appreciate them even more during this special year.”
